I skipped 33 and 34 because those look terrible. The 35 draft is stacked. Doing on my phone so omit grammatical errors.
Top 10 for 3035
1. Eddie Griffin
19
PF/C
6'10
220
Seton Hall
B C D B+ B B
I have Eddie at #1 in this stacked class. He's a 2.0 legend and could step in and be one of the best shot blockers in the league. He's a little light but at 19 years old he can get up to 265 lbs, while getting +1 inch. C outside is big for a big . I think he could go as high as #1, his floor is probably still top 5. He's a safe choice imo
2.Pau Gasol
21
PF/C
7'0
250
Spain
B+ C- C B B A
Probably a better looking prospect offensively than eddie. Pau has the ability to reach 285 lbs. He likely won't ever be a defensive force , but his offense should translate well. He shouldn't have any turnover issues, and will have a healthy amount of meaningless assists. Still one of the better looking big prospects we've seen in the league ommiting this past draft.
3.Gilbert Arenas
20
PG/SG
6'3
191
Arizona
B- B- C+ C+ C- A
Gilbert is the first guard off the board mainly because his ability to play pg. He's not the most athletically gifted guard in the draft but his ability to score is top tier. I don't like him at all as a sg though. So his future hinges on his ability to play pg
4.Tony Parker
19
PG
6'2
185
France
The waters get muddy here for me. Manu busted with good reason but I don't think parker is as hated. I doubt he's picked this high in reality , but I got him here. He should be solid defensively and he's one of the best pg's in recent history at getting to the paint and converting his shots into 2 points. It's doubtful his 3 point shot starts very high, but that is one of the quickest growing attributes we have got for a guar .
5. Joe Johnson
20
SF
6'7
220
Arkansas
Joe might have the highest upside in the draft and with those C+ handles he's a cheese candidate. I don't like him at sf unless he develops a higher rebound grade, which in all likelihood won't ever be elite. I like Joe at sg. He should develop into a lights out 2 guard for the right owner. Has some risk , but high reward .
6.
Eddy Curry
19
PF/C
7'0
285
Thornwood High School
B+ D+ D C+ B- A
Baby shaq here. Eventual size possibility of 7'1 325. Someone will likely take a shot top 5 on him. His jumper will need work , but he should be near 100 strength out the gate. Isn't extremely athletically which bodes well for his Inside scoring, but could also hinder his overall ability on defense. Of the high school bigs I like him the most.
7
Jason Richardson
20
SG
6'6
210
Michigan State
B B- C B- C A
Jason is the 2nd wing off the board for me. The most athletically gifted player in the draft. He should develop into one of the top defensive wings in the league racking up some steals and blocks. His jumping will obviously be high which hurts but he should have high strength. He will need some work on his jumper as well. He needs to go to a gm who will spend the bucks on him.
8.
Zach Randolph
20
PF/C
6'9
260
Michigan State
B C- D+ C+ B+ A
Randolph is an interesting prospect. He lacks any athletic ability but could develop into the best offensive big in the class. Doesn't have much size either. Not projected to block a lot of shots and his jumper needs work. After all these negatives I don't know why I have him top 10.
9.
Richard Jefferson
21
SF
6'7
233
Arizona
B- B- C B- C B
Jefferson doesn't do anything particularly great. He's gifted athletically, but has flaws. But don't we all. He's got the ability to be a lock down defender. He does have turnover issues , and got worse every year in college at the line so he will need work there. He's borderline top 10 but a safer pick than a hs big. Comes down to need.
10
Tyson Chandler
19
PF/C
7'1
240
Dominguez High School
C D+ D+ B B A
Unlike the other hs bigs he's not projected as a scoring big. He's your classic def/reb big. He could put up some gaudy numbers on that end though. He's the most athletic big in the class, so his ability on defense has dpoy ability. He's a solid pick here.
