TC/Preseason has been run and the 3032 class is already the most controversial draft in 4.0 history. In just the top 4 we have Soup's baby in Jimmy Jackson who looks like a better Frank Selvy, Shaq who is already looking like the most dominant big man since 2.0 Bynum and Alonzo Mourning who pretty much the entire league would have loved to get at 1.1 in any other draft. Yet, everyone in the top 3 is asking themselves why they didn't draft the eric special in Jesse Epstein. The debate on Epstein is for another thread, but here we are going to redraft the lotto.
I apologize in advance for the poor formatting. For whatever reason, things weren't copying over correctly half the time so I stole Lazy Pete 's formatting where I could

In a surprise to nobody, Epstein jumps from 4 to 1. Going into TC, everyone was curious what would happen in TC and a +3 in skill grades and a +1 in potential later, it is worse than anyone could have ever imagined. Everyone is terrified of that preseason. A rookie who in preseason shot 48% and put up 38 points per game while also blocking 1.7 shots per game. WOW. Oh yeah, he also got to the line 197 times in 24 games. Dilworth who originally was disappointed to end up at 1.4 in this draft gets the best player and it really isn't close right now.

Any other year, the league would be drooling over Jackson's preseason and after his first TC and preseason, Jackson looks like the best prospect we have ever seen other than epstein. Yet here we are in a world where the most anticipated prospect ever went +4 in his first TC and he falls to 1.2 in a redraft. Everyone knew JJ would be a star in this league and it certainly looks that way. His preseason was outstanding putting up 30 points on 47% shooting. Turnovers were slightly high, but I doubt that will be a long term issue. From day 1 JJ could start at SG for almost every team in TMBSL. He may fall to 1.2 in the redraft, but JJ is a stud and will do what Selvy could not, win a title.

Keeping with the theme of this draft, Shaq is another player who would have gone 1.1 in almost any other draft. Shaq has A+ inside scoring and A rebounding as a rookie. Like soup has said, it is really hard to keep an A+ inside grade, but If shaq can keep his strength up, he will be an absolutely dominant big man. 45.&% shooting as a rookie is outstanding for a big man. Unsurprisingly Shaq blocked 4 shots per game but also threw in a steal every game. I wouldn't be surprised if Shaq becomes the first player in this league to put up a quadruple double without turnovers. Ank also has to be happy that Shaq's FT's were at 65% on 197 attempts. It could have been much worse. The only blemish for shaq was his 3 turnovers. big deal. Shaq is a monster.

Here is the first apparent drop off (though it is small) in this draft class if you can say there is one. 21/10/4 is really good. The only reason I say there is a drop off because Zo was a little less efficient than the guys in the top 3. However, he looks to be a double double guy from day 1 with the potential to put up a triple double with blocks a couple times a year. Zo also attempted 206 FT in 26 games. Zo has future DPOY written all over him. The top 4 of this class is easily the best we have seen in 4.0 and rivals the 91 class from 2.0.

There is a pretty decent drop off after the first four, but Shaun has to be happy with Gugliotta especially after a +4 TC. He seems to be the best of the rest so far. Gugliotta didn't shoot a great percentage from the field or the line, but from day 1 he is a double double guy who will throw in a few steals and blocks without turning the ball over. With a little TC and SC love into his scoring grades, Tom should be a very solid starting PF in this league for a long time.

Yawn was the big loser in the lotto, and it seems the software hates Christian Laettner just like everyone else, but Stith looks like a nice solid wing to build on for the future. +2 w/ a +1 pot increase in TC and solid numbers in preseason on 44.3% shooting. Stith needs to keep improving if he wants to contend for some ASG's but for the 24th overall pick, Yawn should be pretty happy.

Probably a bit of a homer pick here, but after a +4 TC with a +1 in potential, its hard not to like this prospect who is the biggest mover in this way to early re-draft. Willie didn't play much in Preseason, but his numbers in limited minutes were very solid. Didn't turn the ball over and shot 49.5%. Can't beat that for a backup PG in this league. As of now, it looks like Lewis is the 2nd best PG in this draft.

Eric's failed attempt to trade up for Jesse Epstein has a somewhat happy ending for the embattled Knicks GM as LaPhonso Ellis looks like a pretty good player. the +1 in TC was in inside scoring which is always nice. He shot 45.8% in limited minutes and got to the line at a decent rate. There is a lot to like with Ellis and I wouldn't be surprised if he is higher on a re-draft list down the line.

Yawn joins your truly as the only gm to have two people in the lotto during this redraft. Laettner did not have a great TC going -1 inside and rebounding with a +1 in outside, but did get a potential bump. Someone in the top 5 had to have a bad TC and it happened to be Laettner. However, all hope isn't lost for Yawn as Christian shot very well in his limited minutes in preseason. Laettner will not win any games on his own this year and the Yawntank will continue.
1.10 Alexis Geiger SG 6'7'' 221 18 C A- C+ B- C- A
Originally drafted 1.15
Geiger dissapeared in preseason so there are no stats to evaluate. However, his TC makes him worthy of being selected 10th in this redraft. With that C+ handles, I would be trying to make Geiger a PG.

Sidney Deane had a very promising rookie TC going +3. However, he is buried on the Sixers depth chart and did not get much playing time in preseason. With so little playing time, it is hard to evaluate Deane. Summer camp will be more telling. I don't expect Deane to remain a Sixer for long as Fason continues to retool his roster with trades and Rowdy entrenched at PG.

-1 inside +1 outside was not ideal for the white man who can't jump. He didn't play much in Preseason but he shot 50% from 3. Hard not to be excited by that. If everything breaks right for Hoyle, he could be a poor man's version of Eric Gordon.

The 2nd to last pick in the draft makes a huge jump to 1.13 in this redraft. He is currently 4th on the depth chart for the Bullets and looking at being benched for the season. He didn't shoot efficiently in preseason, but after a +5 in his rookie TC, I wouldn't be surprised to see Price fetch a nice price on the trade market next offseason.
