Short was a great scorer while at Jackson State. Scouts are excited about his potential to be a volume scorer at the next level. He has no problem creating his own shot and has a good mid-range game. He’s a good finisher inside due to his strength and athleticism. He has a smooth shooting stroke, but needs to work on extending his range to the pro three point line. He has the athletic ability to be a good wing defender, but needs to play with more effort on that end of the floor. He uses his size well for positioning on rebounds; he should be able to average 8 or 9 boards a game. Short could be a star and should hear his named called early on draft night.
