Richardson has scouts excited about his excellent all-around game; most feel that he has the potential be a triple-double threat every night. He is a very good perimeter defender; his length and quickness causes all kinds of issues both for his man and by creating turnovers. He has the ability to lead the league in steals. He’s also a very good rebounder for a guard, as he often looks to crash the boards. Offensively, his strength and athleticism helps him to finish at the rim over bigger players. He needs to improve his jumper to be a true threat from the outside. Free throw shooting also needs work; he shot below 70% from the line for his college career. He has very good court vision and could eventually lead the league in assists.  He'll need to cut down on the TOs and take less risks to be an elite PG at the next level.   Richardson should be a top 10 pick and one of the first PGs chosen on draft night.
