Brewer is an athletic two guard that has high potential as a shooter and wing defender. During his three years at Arkansas he was one of the better catch and shoot players in college basketball. He sometimes had trouble finishing through contact on his drives, will become a more effective scorer once he gains some weight and strength. His rebounding isn't quite on the level you would expect from someone his size. He has the athleticism to be a good wing defender, but will need to get stronger to be elite. At worst he should be a good three and D player off the bench.
