You guys have to realize that this will pretty much be only rookies. 70% of which will never have a huge impact on any team and will turn into S&T guys after their rookie deals are over. If the total number of points is cut down to 50-60 then, at most, there would be about 20 total points put into players that matter, and thats a very liberal number.

Plus as a former GM who had no motivation or time to do articles I find this idea to be awesome. You could tweak the structure of points but it was great in the baseball league |

What about something like:
1 +5
2 +4
5 +3
5 +2
5 +1
4 -3
1 -5
25 nothing
3 20 day injury
2 40 day injury
1 60 day injury
1 180 day injury
1 +5 pot
1 +10 pot
1 -20 pot
Randomize and match the top whatever with the dudes doing it.

As it is it would, at most, put 43 points into players but that's highly unlikely. Still would be worth doing for the majority of 1st rounders.

i doubt i'd use it at that point. risk wouldn't be worth the reward. esp. if you're a tanking team and you've drafted a few busts the risk for losing 20 potential outweighs anything else there is to gain
