BG protection for heebs every night would keep him alive throughout, as there would only be one mafia left. what are the downsides of protecting heebs every night, aside from the possibility that he is a lying scumbag? I feel like I don't need BG protection. I agree with Pete that it should be random. Pete is useless except he is a confirmed civ. I have one bullet left, but it's in our interest to keep people alive so I'm basically useless. At some point the mafia has to kill me or Pete. But at some point they have to kill all of the civs. |

easy solution here. I'll investigate Heebs tonight. Bodyguard should protect me. Heebs investigation will tell me if he's a vigilante. If he doesn't get killed and I don't show him as the vigilante, then we know he's the don. If he does get killed, we lose the opportunity to direct one extra death, which could help or hurt the town in the long run. Your inspection will show I am a civilian. |

Bodyguard protection on someone who willingly took out a civ without any solid info is stupid
It's herb's biggest downfall in this game - he is always way too confident in his own theories / hunches
It's possible he ends up killing another civ or his kill could be of use to the town - either way, definitely don't waste BG protection on him

so Pete, you are confirming that you were told JHB is mafia, not some other role, right? I was told that he is the bar man I am chalking this up to a mess up by Canes. Typically your investigation just tells you mafia or civ. At least that is what was clarified last game to us when 20s hit on me 1st round. We wanted to know if he knew my role or not. |
