It's the first game and I'm probably grasping at straws here, but the three players I think whose feet we need to hold to the fire are SPL, Druce, and Majic. SPL because of what I said in my last post. Druce and Majic because they were in command when a Russian policy was enacted. Possible they had three Russian choices, but we should work to try and confirm that. IMO we should nominate SPL as President since Druce and Majic can't be. If we end up with an American policy, we're a step closer to winning but still don't have a ton confirmed. If it's Russian, we have a passport to use. Thoughts? i'm on board with that. question for herb, when policies are enacted, they are removed from the policy pool correct? what i'm saying is if the pool was 11 russian and 4 american policies that makes it much more likely that we get 3 russian |

I voted no on Druce because I feel me and Majic have proved ourselves and wanted to see one of us get back in office. I was not aware of any limitation on office votes. Since there is a limitation on when we can be voted in, I think we should hold off on voting me back in, we have breathing room right now and we can test out who we can/cannot trust.

Here is how policies work.
I put the 17 policies (11 russian, 6 american) in a column in excel. I make a list of 17 equations =rand(). I cut the random decimals and paste the raw numbers (not the equation) in the column next to the 17 policies. I sort the two columns from highest to lowest. That randomizes the 17 policies.
I work down the list of randomized policies. After 5 governments (so when there are two policies left in the order), I will combine the two remaining policies with the 10 discarded policies (so not the policies enacted) and re-randomize them. Two things could upset this. First, if there was a veto there will be one more discarded policy (because a government will have NOT enacted a policy and will have discarded all three it picked up). Second, if there are 3 failed governments in a row we may have SIX enacted policies and only 11 policies to be re-randomized for the second cycle through the policies.

The veto power is unlocked after 5 Russian policies have been enacted. Once the power is unlocked, the President may, after receiving his two policy choices, say "I wish to veto this agenda." The Party Leader then must accept or decline the veto. If the party leader accepts the veto, no policy is enacted and the election tracker advances by one. If the party leader declines the veto, the President must enact a policy normally. |

Another Russian policy has been enacted. Anxiety abounds as America is under assault. JHB suspends the fourth Amendment in an attempt to determine who is responsible for the growing Russian threat to the Republic. I would be happy to be inspected.
However I do agree that holding off for another vote or two would be good.
Delap voting No for most of the game on any president candidate is strange to me. if all those fail then we are guaranteed
