It's Devine so that's a flimsy argument and you know it shouldn't really knock gm's who are in the same tier as you.

that's empirically false based on several articles written by GM's as well as a vote

What if we include the 2nd rounders? 58 team unweighted lotto!

Someone reminds me.to post my argument tomorrow. No. Also from the very scientific straw poll it's pretty clear that amongst GM's that have voted so far the status quo is preferred and the only change anyone supported was a 13-team unweighted lotto.

Changing to the wheel none of these trades would happen...these trades are what keeps people active imo This is the odd argument that keeps coming up. If anything, trades would be easier because both parties would know exactly what a pick was worth.

I think knowing the worth hurts trades.

I can't sell bad picks as part of a package when the other gm already knows it's worth.

but goddamn can you sell a good pick. there's no net change in the amount of trading due to picks imo

but goddamn can you sell a good pick. there's no net change in the amount of trading due to picks imo This is already false. Wheel enthusiast's big selling point is the removal of stripping down teams. That alone is going to kill 15-20% of trades, and probably 50%+ of big time trades.

It would eliminate the liquidation trades when people blow it up. Which is a good thing.
There would still be lots of trading. Healthier trading actually.
