Team let soup use it, with 85 attribute limit, and remove it.

Lol I'd learn the software a little more before I came in guns a blazing. A PG with 5s in every stat, 50 inside, and 70 jumper, has a D+ inside grade. If we increase quickness and strength to 25, it is a C-. If we increase quickness to 60 and strength to 35 and jumping to 50 (my best guess for Harrison), we get a C inside grade. Curiously, could you remind me what Harrison's actual inside grade is? quickness has no impact on inside

lol i had nothing to do with the ank bank being removed. i dont even know what that is. typical bankz huh? you were in shout... noticed it being cashed... Sent a text to Odin and 10 minutes later announced per Odin it was being removed. You can't be this fucking stupid to think anyone who was around that day didn't know you played a role in having it removed. Anyways my point still stands... The reward should either be removed without anyone being able to use it or tweaked so it last the length of the league. Since its clear a few people have issues with the current reward as is.. It was actually not soup who convinced me to get rid of it.

So using passing instead, we'll assume a 55 passing grade for Harrison and the same 91 passing grade for Thompson. So we use the attribute replacements on passing and inside, resulting in 86 attribute points (50+36), plus 15 from jumper. So soup received 101 attribute points for 60k, which averages to 594 dump bucks per point, nearly HALF the next lowest source of attribute increases. Thanks to soup and Ian for helping make the example more realistic and further illustrating the need to change the way MC works. those numbers are way off

The issue is the ability to effect a giant SC in 3 categories all in one year at a cost less than an SC (without any restictions, such as +5 per year per player, only once in an attribute, only 3 for the player's career). Is the conclusion (that if you used inside/jumper/passing) in an MC with Thompson and Harrison, the cost per attribute increase (assuming no 85 cap) would be less than 1k per attribute?

Sorry, the order was incorrect.
Passing and inside would be the replacement states. Jumper would be the averaging stat.

Sure, I guess you could technically use it to get an increase of 227 but that's just not going to happen ever for many reasons:
1. You're not going to use it on a player that's bad. 2. No player at the age of 36 has 100 anything ever. 3. It's irresponsible to do it without first scouting pot and that gets expensive fast unless you nail the first one, so good look finding those 2-3 2nd rounders each year that have above 70 pot. Most 2nds are DOA. 4. Other than jumper and blocks, it's pretty difficult to figure out what a player's highest grades are. 5. You're not going to find a 100 pot guy with multiple obvious 5s, and if you do you probably don't have the money or the vet to do it.

This is exactly why I didn't think it needed to be overhauled or eliminated. The odds of the stars aligning and someone being able to create a superstar out of this are pretty massive

The odds of the stars aligning and someone being able to create a superstar out of this are pretty massive Even if they did, it wouldn't break the league. This wouldn't make a Magic or Diaz (especially if i plan on doing some kind of position based limitation, and i do). It might make a prime Jamal Wilkes or something, but no Diaz.

Either Harrison is a stud or Skywalker is in serious decline. Ian, soup, and I came up with some rough justice on what we thought each player's attributes were and it resulted in over 60 total points gain (think it was low 80s, but might have been mid to high 70s).

If that is never going to happen, what is the harm in limiting the total gains to 60 attribute points? Because you make the reward pointless. That is completely untrue. It is not pointless. There are 60 points. Which is the equivalent of 12 SCs. 12 SCs you would otherwise be prohibited from getting.

I can still buy 12 SCs for 60k even without the mentor camp. And it doesn't cost me -10 potential on a player and it doesn't take me 5 years to accumulate and ignore other areas.
