Might as well charge nothing and save @dumptime the work. Well that was my stance yesterday... But seriously how is it fair for a single GM to pay a fee and yet the entire league gains benefit from it. You either pay per view or make it free IMHO It's kind of like one person buying NBA league pass and several people using it. Am I right?  |

How about just do the combine game and let that be the end of it, allow too much actual stuff to be seen is bad imo, not to mention more pointless work for Odin and Dump.

imo how about odin picks the players and just do 1 game? if we require 48 players to be selected to play these games we're essentially needing to run 2 drafts every year.

It shouldn't take hours for 4 GM's to get in chatzy and select 4 teams. When we did Fantasy RT's it took minutes...

I like the idea of having the division leaders do the drafting of teams.
But honestly anyone who is online and can knock it out should be fine.
This isn't rocket science

NBA teams have a large body of work to go on with each player, while we have a paragraph of text if we are lucky and grades that may or may not be correct. |

I'm currently team triple round robin is a lot. Single should work fine with each team having a game posted at 40/80/120.

Even when the info is shared they are paying to view it at a discounted rate. No one is getting free information. Under the proposed system 1 GM pays for the info and 28 others get to view it for free.. |

Niang probably goes first overall if we had a round robin tournament last year.
It doesn't take long for the software to reveal which players are best. The draft inherently should have uncertainty to be realistic.

I mean, we went 50+ seasons with no real scouting (minus the brief period in 2.0 where we had the ranking attributes thing that led to some bad picks like trofie selecting Peja).
If the goal is to reward high picks, just make the the prospects that are suppose to be projected to go top 3 good and/or make a few less Stanley Robinson type 2nd rounders (or tone it down a bit where a 2nd rounder isn't the best overall prospect by miles)
