I like the idea of having just 1 prospect game that gets posted for everybody to see. Get rid of all other scouting. Agree with this |

The goal is to have more shit for people to spend dump bucks on. Also at no point has a 2nd rounder been the best prospect by miles, even with Robinson.  |

I mean, we went 50+ seasons with no real scouting (minus the brief period in 2.0 where we had the ranking attributes thing that led to some bad picks like trofie selecting Peja). If the goal is to reward high picks, just make the the prospects that are suppose to be projected to go top 3 good and/or make a few less Stanley Robinson type 2nd rounders (or tone it down a bit where a 2nd rounder isn't the best overall prospect by miles) This is awful. I love the way Odin has been handling the draft and it is the most realistic we have ever had it imo. Not every top 3 pick pans out irl and I don't think they should in sim either. Also, plenty of sleeper type guys taken mid to late 1st or early 2nd carve out a successful career. The way odin has been handling drafts mirrors real life and it lessens the motivation for all out tanking if you aren't guaranteed to get a star. There are guys who will turn out great and guys who won't turn out as great and you have to pick the right ones. |
