apparently there is a software similar to FBB available for hockey. if there is enough interest, ill commish a league.

if there is anyone familiar with torrance and willing to find me a cracked version for free, I'd really appreciate it. Don't want to drop $45 canadian on the software for a league we aren't sure will make it past 1 season

custom Team names are available. Keep it to NHL (current or Former) or AHL/CHL team names only. we can even determine the amount of teams in the league. 28 is probably the sweet spot imo.

also, the league uses a minor league system, so a creation draft would be 30+ rounds. I doubt anyone wants to deal with that. We can either do 10 rounds and auto the rest, use pre-set rosters from a set year (difficult to do) or (just let the comp randomize the starting rosters and go from there.)

I am thinking of starting the league in 2010 (gives the casual hockey fan a chance to know most of the players in the league) and adopting the TMBSL draft strategy of doing the draft classes randomly from there. Like the idea of Crosby going up agaisnt Gretzky and so-on

I am not sure if each franchise has a minor league affiliate or if we can even use custom team names. will let you know in the future when I figure it out
