Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Whats up jerks?! I recently turned 30 years old. I live in the burbs about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia. I work for a pharmaceutical company peddling osteoporosis medication. I attended a Penn State juco and then Temple but am a proud sidewalk fan of the University of Florida. I was a member of rivals back in 2004, TMB in 2009 and sim ball has been life since 2014.
Do you remember how you got involved with the sim league?
Interacted with a lot of the GMs currently in the league in those fantasy basketball drafts we've had on TMB. Odin asked me to join 2.0 towards it's end but I was too busy at the time. He asked me a couple more times and I finally decided to join when 4.0 was created since I could get a fresh start along with everyone else.
Congratulations on your championship this season, can you compare this to your previous championship, which did you enjoy more and why?
First championship was way more important to me due to how much shit I got while I was tanking and how much effort I put into the rebuild. Was a relief to win one and get that monkey of my back.
My team last season wasn't the best in the league so I just felt lucky that the software liked my team for that set of sims and for Templeton's concussion.
I remember when I first got into sim league you were doing a rebuild and putting players overseas and I thought, what a goof but I fully have to admit, you have such a grasp on how to play this sim league. Any strategies or insights are you willing to share with others?
Well I never sent any players overseas but I did take David Robinson over Gary Bossert since he'd have to sit out for two seasons. It worked out for my tank but I definitely should have taken Bossert.
My strategy has always been to avoid being in the middle. So I go all in to win or lose based on my windows of opportunity. One thing that has served me well has been to blow up my teams a bit early so I have extra assets to use for my rebuilds.
It seams like you have been in this league forever, can you give me your top 5 and bottom 5 owners in sim league of all time and how they came to be on your list?
I can only do 4.0
1. Soup - He had the most success, helped out a ton of people with advice and obviously did/does a lot for the league.
2. 20s - Seems to always have good teams, great in shout and as a draft master. I wish his daughter wasn't so selfish and allowed him to hang out more often.
3. Druce - Only GM to win titles with three cores and been a good draft master.
4. Dil - Tied with Druce for second most championships.
5. Ank - Say what you will about his tactics, Anks's had a lot of success and some really good teams. I appreciate the power hours.
Not going to give obvious answers for the worst 5 like RW, Devine, Bankz, Scat and Tobias.
5. Rv - Getting better with everything about the league, I probably would have had him number one a month or two ago. He's had 4 or 5 max FAs handed to him along with some auto draft luck but hasn't done much with it outside of the finals appearance in 3017.
4. MJ - Every bit of success he had in 4.0 was due to Soup's aid and being handed Majic Johnson which came after he threatened to quit the league if he didn't get some good luck. The Shareef for Buck Williams trade was horrible and had a huge ripple effect on the league.
3. Ocho - He's left two dumpster fires behind each time he quit. I ended up giving 9 firsts for Michael Jordan and Grant Hill but he didn't take advantage of it.
2. Jerry West - Screwed up inheriting Khalid Reeves, Gary Bossert and Kevin Durant. For this Rolando Blackman trade lolwrongtmbsl.proboards.com/thread/7194/1128-pacers-bobcats And now he is letting Bob Cousy rot.
1. Canes - He's had a ton of good fortune but has done nothing with it. Has a poor attitude about everything sim related. Would probably only be the 5th worst if he paid attention.

PF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim - I'm jealous that GBG had him in his prime. Again MJ was fucking retarded for trading him away.
C: Catfish - Loved Catfish and had the best season of his career as a Sixer.

I have heard people say that the playoffs are a crapshoot, In your opinion, who was the worst team ever that won a championship and why?
Probably the Clippers back in the 3017 since they only won 48 games during the regular season. Greg Monroe had a great career but none of the other starters (Dutch Burch, Nick Fazekas, Othella Harrington and Dick Furry) were close to HOF players.
If you could punch one GM in the face, who would it be and why?
I'd punch Druce in the face for bringing Majic into the league.
What is the best sporting event that you have ever attended and tell us a little bit about it.
I was fortunate to go to a lot Sixers games when they had Iverson. The playoffs in 2001 were really fun.
Who was your favorite athlete of all time?
I loved Penny Hardaway for his game and he always wore sweet shoes.
