Gendry's triumphant return! He is a bastard, but his claim would probably be as good as anybody else's.

Varys would know, and Brienne figured it out when he reminded her of Renly, but yeah, the show has gone a different direction.

So Ramsey was firing on his on squad right? Davos said something to that effect? Yeah, for him, his men were expendable as long he was taking out the other army at the same time.

am I crazy or was Ghost MIA during the battle? All that CGI money went into the dragons and Wun Wun for that episode.

am I crazy or was Ghost MIA during the battle? Whoa. That's odd. in a formal fight in open field I don't think that Ghost would be of much help. between the spears, arrows and amount of men he wouldn't last long. Jon wisely had him sit this one out

Grey Wind always went to battle at Robb's side, but I feel like Robb was doing more guerilla style warfare than the old medieval meet on an agreed upon field and have at it.

Ramsey knew he had such a numbers advantage that killing his own men with arrows wouldn't affect him in any way.
He actually had a fantastic game plan based on the knowledge at hand.
Jon felt he had Ramsey mentally where he wanted but Ramsey countered that and got Jon to abandon his game plan but sending his brother out and eventually being shot down by the arrow.
Ramsey had a perfect game plan and execution he showed once again he's always one step ahead of the challenger.
There was no way in any way imaginable he would think the man who exchanged his now wife would then come back and lead an army who hasn't engaged in battle in years for years.
Just such fantastic story telling like always with this show.

Wonder if there is gonna be some tension between LF, Jon, and Sansa moving forward It'll be interesting to see if Littlefinger and Sansa making eye contact at the end of the King in the North scene was Sansa starting to believe what Littlefinger has been feeding her, or if it's Sansa realizing that Jon is now standing between Littlefinger and his ultimate goal of being the king of the seven kingdoms.

He just confessed to her that he wants the Iron throne for himself and now Jon stands in the way. Im also guessing she stands behind Jon and it doesnt end up well for Littlefinger

What a fucking episode. Just great on all accounts. Couple things: 1. So Jon is the king of the north now....but everyone still thinks he's a bastard with little royal blood. Pretty obvious he's got all dat royal blood. Wonder when/if everyone figures it out and if it changes anything. 2. Dany is coming to Westeros! Kinda doubt she's heading straight to King's Landing. Feel like the Dornish peeps and Queen of Thorns gonna fuck up Cersei before Dany ever gets there. 3. How do the White Walkers get past the wall? Gotta have something to do with Bran I would assume. 4. How do the Ironborn (Euron) factor into this whole thing? If he's still around and making an army, gotta assume he's gonna play a big part. Bookfags - Still think a Dragon Horn comes into play

That was a real good season finale, we finally get what happened in the tower and it was as suspected. The foreshadowing though is becoming too predicitable, Daenerys is in search for a powerful husband in the 7 kingdoms, Targaryens marry within their family and we find out Jon Snow is Targaryen. However, they will drag that courtship on for a season, my guess is she is going to be deciding between LF and Jon Snow and Bran meets up with Jon and tells Jon and Daenerys of his vision and then they marry and turn their focus on the Iron Throne.
Arya though is such a little badass now, that scene with her was fantastic. On another note, I am really surprised that Lady Stoneheart has not made an appearance yet in the TV show. I keep thinking we will see her in each episode.

1) He does have royal blood, he is part Stark and Targaryen (son of Mad King). He has the most legitimate claim to the Iron Throne at the moment.
2) She is with the Dorn right now, that is how she got the boats. Varys was shown with the Dorn brokering the deal.
3) My guess is the winter storm knocks the wall down
4) I think they are part of that invading party with the Dorn and Daenerys.
