Cant find the other because of all of eric's threads about nothing.
I'm currently at 298 and hoping to be about 260 by the end of the summer. At that point i'll decide if i can lose more with my frame but i highly doubt it. Could turn it into muscle but anything less than 260 i would look gross imo.

Bad day today. Forgot my lunch at home and had to eat food at work. So many calories. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Good shit, MJ!
I put on like 20 lbs from October to January when I had fucked up my back and couldn't run.
I've not gained or lost anything since then - but I'd like to start shedding those extra 20.

I currently have mono and haven't worked out in 2 weeks. I'm going to try to do cardio today for the first time and have a training session tomorrow. Pretty annoyed at how easy I have to take it for a few weeks because I was starting to get really good muscle definition. Don't want to fuck up my spleen though.

MJ i had mono once too and the effect on my physical conditioning was devastating. it's frustrating but be smart. get healthy, then get fit. It's brutal, I'm about midway through week 3. I had it for 2 weeks per my doctor before I got really bad with the throat closing and extreme fatigue. I slept 9 hours last night and I'm exhausted right now because this stupid ass mono.

295 today. Was terrified to look at the scale considering the last few weeks but no damage has been done. Time to get back to it.

Do work, Odin. What's your new goal? 260 for now. Everything below 285 is new territory for me so i really don't know what my stopping point will need to be.

Did cardio for 20 and lifted for 15. I feel like death and I'm not sure I have the energy to cook dinner. Catching some L's right now

Odin I don't know if there is one near you but if there is step into a complete nutrition and do their body scan. It is free and they will try to sell you shit after but just say you are starting out and will be back in soon. I try to go in about every 10 days. Get my lean mass and my body fat mass as well as PBF and BMI. It has some cool shit on it as well and tells you your basic metabolic rate without any exercise, mine is 1898 right now. Since I first went there last March 15 my skeletal muscle mass has gone from 92.4 -89.1 and my body fat has gone from 44.6% to 34.3% and the weight has dropped exactly 50lbs. During my break up and all that I ate terrible and stopped working out and went from 260 to 283lbs in 4 weeks so be happy you haven't moved shit. Oh and the main point for the body scan was it shows your ideal BMI and PBF for your height and weight.

Wear more clothes when you walk: a winter hat, a heavy jacket, etc. The goal is only to increase heart rate, after all. Another advantage to this strategy is that if it gets to be too much you can always just take the clothes off. Like anything, start slow, don't bundle up with every clothing you own and walk twenty miles.

I had success by "exercising" an hour a day, every day. At first my goal was 4 miles, which consisted of jogging a couple of minutes and walking a lot. Each week I tried to increase my distance. When I hurt my back I was doing 6 miles an hour, which was basically jogging the whole time with a few minutes warm up and cool down. My goal is to get back to that.

Also, that process took me almost a year of exercising every day. I didn't ever push myself very hard. It's a marathon and not a sprint. You shouldn't exercise so hard that you hate doing it. You'll just quit. Take it slow and easy. As your endurance increases, your tolerance for moving faster/further will grow, and at no point should you dread exercising.
